Dom was 10 when he shot his first film and he has had the film bug ever since. He began to direct commercials whilst also developing and directing a number of award winning short films. Through his beautifully observed style and technique of film making Dom has the ability to capture and convey a hard hitting message or heart warming sentiment with the same deftness of touch. His ability to get underneath the skin and immersed in his subjects always brings a beauty, honesty and sincerity to his work.
Recent commercial clients include O2, Orange, BBC Radio 6, Canon, Tesco and Pot Noodle. He has recently worked with Fallon, Denstu, VCCP, Red Brick Road and Publicis. His most recent spot completed the Lucozade trilogy for Grey London in which a band plays a song whilst skateboarding down a hill. He continues to write and direct his own short films, recently including ‘Bitch’ ‘The Magic of Neil Diamond’ and ‘Sunday’, all written, directed, filmed and edited by Dom himself. In 2010 Dom made his UK TV directing debut with new sitcom ‘Shelfstackers’ for BBC3.
